Cuttack Weather - The historical city of Cuttack at Orissa experiences a sultry climate with extremely hot summers and chilled winters. Lasting from March till June, the summer season at the city observes a rise in temperature as high as 40° C. The minimum summer temperature at Cuttack remains 25°.

The monsoon comes as a much awaited respite for Cuttack in July wherein a heavy rainfall is experienced by the city in the months of July and August. Cuttack normally receives an average annual rainfall of about 144.39 cm.

The winters at Cuttack are quite cold and chilly. Starting right from October, it is stretched till February observing a maximum temperature of 16° C and a minimum temperature of 10° C. With a gentle sun in the sky, this remains to be the best season to visit Cuttack owing to its pleasant weather. But for the people traveling from the Northern part of India, it is a must to carry heavy woolens along to combat this chill.
